Policies

Return and Exchange Policy

No refunds will be given after (7) days. All items to be refunded must be in the original packaging, in new condition, with the original receipt. If the item does not meet all of these requirements (eg. It has been open, used, or there is no receipt), there will be a 20% restocking fee. The type of refund is dependent on the type of payment for the item. Exchanges for lesser priced items will be given in-store credit.

NOTE: No refunds or exchanges on bikes, lights, computers, batteries, tools, tubes, clothing, or used items. There will be no refunds given on repairs, labor, installed parts, or close-outs.

New Bike Service Policy

Velo Bike Shop offers a limited service policy with the purchase of a new bike. We also honor the "Manufacturer's Limited Warranty" by their terms and conditions. The Manufacturer's Limited Warranty is printed in the bike owner's manual. We offer a 30-day free tune and 90 days of free minor adjustments from the date of purchase.

NOTE: Normal wear, tubes, tires, paint, plating and use other than specified in the owner's manual are not covered.

Deposits

Deposits may be accepted for bicycles, parts, and/or repairs. There is a minimum of 50% of the total amount of the bike, part, or repair. The deposit will hold a bike or part at the sale price for thirty (30) days and at the regular price for sixty (60) days. There will be a 20% restocking fee, plus any freight and labor if any, should a customer default on their agreement.

NOTE: All 60-day deposits expire six (6) months from the first deposit.

Privacy Policy

Velo Bike Shop takes the protection and proper use of your personal information seriously. We respect your privacy, and take great care to safeguard information in our possession. Your preferences for use of your information are our highest priority. Velo Bike Shop does not share customer information (including e-mail addresses) to any individual or company.

Online Ordering

We do in-store purchases only, no shipping or mail orders. If there is a consignment item on the website that you would like, the following steps will need to take place:

  • E-mail the shop at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) to request the item and confirm availability
  • Send a cashier's check to our address: 2151 6th Avenue Seattle, WA 98121 for the amount of the item plus tax (9.6%). We will quote you the full amount when you send the inquiry e-mail
  • Make arrangements for a shipping company to pick up the item at our store, and we will make sure that it is boxed and ready to be shipped. See more shipping instructions here

Website Policy

All prices listed on the website are subject to change without notice, and quantity is limited to stock on hand. We do in-store purchases only; no mail orders, shipping or phone orders. Any typographic, pricing, or photographic errors that may exist in the web site or e-mail special are unintentional and subject to change.
