Where are you located?

We are located on the south-west corner of 6th Avenue and Blanchard Street in Downtown Seattle. 

Driving directions I-5 Southbound: Take exit 165B for Union Street, continue onto Union Street (435 ft), turn right onto 6th Avenue (0.5mi). Velo is on the left side of the street. 

Driving directions from I-5 Northbound: Use the left lane to take exit 165 for Seneca Street, take a slight right onto 6th Avenue (0.7mi). Velo is on the left side of the street.

Do you provide parking?

We offer one hour of free parking in the Via6 garage. From 6th Avenue, turn left onto Lenora Street and take the next right into the alleyway between 6th and 5th Avenue. The garage entrance is located on the south side of the alleyway behind the building.

Do you buy used bikes?

We do not buy bikes or parts. We offer trade-ins toward new bike purchases and consignment for bikes in rideable condition.

TRADE-IN: We offer a credit for one trade-in bike to be applied toward a new bike purchase. The trade-in bike must be brought in to be assessed for a value at the time of purchase of a new model. Trade-in credits cannot be stored for future use.

CONSIGNMENT: Bring your bike into the shop and set your price. When the bike sells we keep a 35% commission and send you a check for the remaining portion of the bike sale price.  We do not accept all bikes for consignment.

Do I need to make an appointment for service?

You do not need an appointment, we operate on a first come, first serve basis. The turn around time for tune-ups varies based on season and business level. Call ahead to get an idea of our current turn around time.

What are the important bike laws in Seattle?

• Helmets are required by law in King County

• Cyclists are considered a vehicle and must obey all the rules of the road

• Use turn signals (when safe) and look when turning

• At night, cyclists are required to have a white front light (visible for 500 ft) and a rear reflector. A rear light is recommended in addition to a rear reflector.
