Giant Demo Review

Recently I attended the Giant Bike Dealer Seminar and Demo at Duthie Hill Mountain Bike Park. First the Giant Marketing Rep. explained the 2011 line up of full suspension bikes, including the Anthem X 29er. 1. During the afternoon we road the Trance X1, Faith 0 and the Anthem X 29er 1. Having the same trail to ride each bike, you could easily distinguish the bikes strengths and weakness. First I road the Anthem, Giant's 29er full suspension with the new Shimano XT 10 speed. After one lap on the trails I could tell this bike was the most efficient and comfortable full suspension bike I have ever ridden. With Meastro suspension and the 29er wheels you stick to the ground and pedal efficiently is amazing. I then road the Trance and Faith. Both nice bikes but too much travel for me. The Anthem 29er felt very stable under all conditions, from climbing tight switchbacks to high speed cornering and descending. The bike could work as a X-country race machine or as an all mountain bike.
