Does your shop rent bikes?
No, we do not have bikes to rent.
Where exactly are you located?
We are located on the corner of 11th and Pine on Capital Hill, two blocks east of Broadway.
Do you sell used bikes?
Yes, we do sell used bikes, and they are located out front of our shop. The prices range from $120 and up.
Do you buy bikes?
We do not buy bikes, but we take trade ins towards new bikes, so feel free to bring your old bike in and see what its worth.
I want to ship my bike and need to have it boxed up, can you box and ship it for me?
Yes, you can bring your bike here and we can box it up for you. Labor costs $45.00 an hour, and most often it takes around an hour or less to box a bike. We do not ship bikes, however, you can arrange for a shipping company (UPS, FedEx etc.) to pick up the bike here once it has been boxed.
Do I have to make an appointment to have my bike repaired?
No, we do not take appointments, so you can drop off your bike any time and we will let you know when you can pick it up. You may also call in advance if you wanted to see how far out we are for our tune up repairs
How much does a basic tune up cost?
A basic tune up costs $40.00, plus any parts or installation. An estimate of the total price will be given when you drop off the bike for it to be serviced
What are your hours?
We are open Monday through Thursday from 10:00am to 7:00pm, Friday and Saturday from 10:00am to 6:00pm, and Sunday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm
What traffic laws apply to bicyclists?
When ridden on any roadway a bicycle rider has all of the rights and responsibilities of any vehicle (RCW 46.61.755). Unless bicycles are specifically excepted, all traffic laws and rules apply to bicycles. Bicyclists who violate traffic laws are subject to a citation.
